An entertaining development game at The Dog & Duck Ground Wellingborough against a side formed mainly of Diamonds trialists.
All our current under 16s featured in addition to youth team players, Wheeler, Duffen, Shrewsbury, Arthur and keeper John Swales who was beaten on 50 minutes by powerful striker Mason Thomas near post strike.
We are delighted with the under 16 players who adapted to the higher tempo game and coped with the physical demands of the next stage in their development.
