We started pre season with four players but finished unbeaten in the league and went on a good lincs cup run.
Would like to thank all the players that participated and worked hard and also thank Dan Stanley, assistant, who gave up his valuable time and knowledge to help.
Meet the Squad
1. Dan Hudson - Our keeper, he may be small but will run through a brick wall for us. Fantastic shot stopper!
3. Connor Hughes – Pacy left back, likes to get forward. Great left foot, getting stronger after long term injury. Likes to eat his tea straight before training!!
4. Callum McInerney – One of our ex-Netherton trio. Solid at centre half, great in the air as well as on the ground. Has high standards always expecting the best from everyone!!
5. Ben Mason (c) – Captain America – Leads by example, built like a machine and plays like it too! True winner. Centre half.
7. Tom Horton – Mr Hollywood, claims to be a player in more ways than one! Ladies love him. Tricks on tricks. Hates training unless he has the ball. Fantastic leader and winner in centre mid.
8. Joe Leftley – Midfield warrior, keeps the ball well and never stops running or tackling, a true No. 8. Could put the ball on a 10p from 30 yards!!! Great partnership with Mr Hollywood.
9. Liam Parish – Our very own Rooney, but better looking! Classy acquisition from Ramsey, ex Posh and plays football in his sleep. Scores goals on goals. Big clubs chasing him. Striker
10. Harry Fitzjohn – Tidy rightback from the Netherton ranks, quick and deadly right foot. A true pro at 15 years old! Bright future.
11. Jordan Hebditch – Crouchy on the left! Gets forward and scores goals, tricky on the ball too. But only if he’s had his caffeine or he will still be in bed. Left Mid.
14. Jack Yule – Tall ex- Wittering and Posh schoolboys winger or forward. Sets high standards for himself. But can score 4 goals and still think he’s had a bad game! Quality wherever he plays.
19. Adam Blick (Blicky / Juke) – strong and quick, Mr Versatile. Also plays in goal for Blackstones Youth team. Loves his music.
23. Declan McNally – Another of the ex- Netherton trio and another Mr Versatile. Can play anywhere with two great feet. Always has a question and could analyse anything. Scores goals no matter where you play him.
Manager:
Matt Davis - Gaffer and part time fiance. Likes the sound of his own voice. Sadly the lads don't. Has fantastic music taste.
Assistant:
Dan Stanley - The peoples man. Could talk his way out of a cold!! Great assitant, lino, kit man, tea boy, and knows his way around the team! Currently taking his FA badges.
