Rutland County College Partnership

Stamford AFC and Rutland County College are delighted to announce our partnership creating opportunities for aspirational footballers to pursue further education and participate in a scheduled football development programme.

The College and Club are now planning a start of the course in the 2012/13 school year and this will coincide with Rutland College moving into new facilities in August 2012.

It’s exciting times for the football club and the college and  a new prospectus is available to interested students with applications open from mid October 2011. A marketing leaflet is also available.

Club representatives Jason Boud, Guy Walton and Peter Rowbotham were joined by with ex-youth team players Jake Walton and Craig Hill at a very popular and successful open evening at the college on October 12th 2011. 

We now look forward to planning for the scheme to start in August 2012.
